We are excited to partner with the Food Bank of Iowa to help end childhood hunger in our communities.

To support this cause, Raccoon Valley Bank will match donations up to $5,000 for the Food Bank of Iowa's BackPack Programs™ in the elementary schools of the Adel-De Soto-Minburn, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Perry school districts. Every contribution makes a difference, and with your help, we can ensure that children have access to the nutritious meals they deserve!

 rEADY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

1. How does the matching donation campaign work?

Raccoon Valley Bank will match donations up to $5,000 per school district for the Food Bank of Iowa's BackPack Programs™ in the elementary schools of each participating district - ADM, DCG, and Perry - up to a total of $15,000. This means every dollar you donate will be doubled up to $5,000 for each district, helping us maximize our impact in the fight against childhood hunger!

2. How can I make a donation?

Donations can be made directly through our website. Simply click on the "Donate Now" button to contribute to the school district of your choice: ADM, DCG, or Perry. Every contribution, big or small, helps us reach our goal!

3. What will the donations be used for?

All funds raised will support the Food Bank of Iowa's BackPack Programs™ in ADM, DCG, and Perry elementary schools. These proceeds will go directly to the Food Bank of Iowa, who will direct the funds to the programs in the respective school districts. This includes purchasing food items and providing resources to ensure this program and others like it can serve children effectively.

4. Can I donate food instead of money?

At this time, we are focusing on monetary donations to ensure we can purchase the necessary food items in bulk. However, we appreciate your willingness to help and encourage you to participate in fundraising efforts!

5. How long is the donation period for this campaign!

The donation period for this campaign will begin on November 18, 2024, and will continue until December 18, 2024. We invite everyone to participate during this time to help us make a meaningful impact on childhood hunger in our community!
